He writes about his experiences in life, having seen the worst and best of humanity. He has retired in Oklahoma City, where he was President of a small Oil & Gas Company. 

Dan writes for enjoyment and a desire to share his life experience through his books. His fictional books are primarily historical fiction that immerses the reader into the time and culture of the main characters.
